Print Layout

Print Layout

The Print Layout view provides a print preview with configurable page settings. It renders a paginated preview of your spreadsheet data and uses the browser's native print dialog for output.

Opening Print Layout

Open via File > Print in the menu bar, or press Ctrl+P.

Page Settings

The settings sidebar on the left provides the following options:

Page Size

  • A4 (210 x 297 mm)
  • Letter (215.9 x 279.4 mm)
  • Legal (215.9 x 355.6 mm)

Orientation

  • Portrait (default)
  • Landscape

Margins

  • Normal: 20mm top/bottom, 18mm left/right
  • Narrow: 10mm top/bottom, 6mm left/right
  • Wide: 25mm on all sides
  • Custom: Specify individual margins in millimeters for top, bottom, left, and right
  • All: Print the entire used range of the active sheet.
  • Selection: Print only the currently selected range.
  • Custom: Enter a specific range (e.g. A1:F20).

Scale

  • Fit to page (auto-scales to fit content on one page)
  • Fixed percentages: 50%, 75%, 100%, 125%, 150%, 200%

Repeat Rows

Enter the number of header rows to repeat at the top of every printed page.

Grid Lines

Toggle whether cell grid lines appear in the printout.

Row/Column Headers

Toggle whether row numbers and column letters are included.

Configure what appears at the top and bottom of each page: - Header options: None, Sheet name, Date, Custom text - Footer options: None, Page number, Sheet name, Date, Custom text

Preview

The right side of the panel displays a paginated preview. Each page is rendered at the configured size and scale, showing exactly how the printout will look including headers, footers, and grid lines.

Page Breaks

Click the Page breaks button to switch to page break editing mode on the grid, where you can manually control where pages split.

Printing

Click Print to open the browser's native print dialog with the formatted content.
